Import Interface

You can automatically import all inputs and outputs of a Simulink subsystem into TPT. To correctly analyze a model interface, the following requirements have to be met:

Select the MATLAB/Simulink Platform section in the Platform Configuration dialog. Click Import to import or update the channels and parameters from MATLAB. For more information about the Import Interface wizard, see Declarations - Import Interface.

Go to the Import Interface section in the Platform Configuration dialog.

In this section, you can specify the

To customize which parameter should be taken into account, see Parameter Handling.

Import interface from MATLAB

In case the model contains referenced configuration sets, TPT needs to resolve these sets to import the interface.

To import only channels or parameters click the little arrow next to the import button and select from the menu. The Import Interface dialog is displayed. For more information about this dialog, see Declarations - Import Interface.

In case the name of a signal or parameter is the same as a TPT keyword, see Test Assessment - Assessment Keywords, the name is extended by "_rename" and the original name is added to the external name field of the Rename mapping flavor.
